Magnetometer

Z-Too uses a Geometrics G-858 dual sensor cesium magnetometer configured as a gradiometer.  Cesium magnetometers offer higher precision than proton magnetometers and allow data to be recorded continuously along transects.  The gradiometer configuration eliminates solar interference, providing better vertical gradient data resolution than total field magnetic data.
