Principal InvestigatorKendal McDonald McDonald is the principal investigator and owner of Z-Too. She has extensive experience with data management and data interpretation, and now specializes in archaeological data sets. She received her M.A. degree in Anthropology from Portland State University and holds a 1982 B.S. degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona. She spent 17 years as a computer programmer and project manager in the high-tech industry focusing on business applications before applying her expertise to archaeological problems. In 1999 she founded her remote sensing company, Z-Too. She has demonstrated magnetic survey techniques to Portland State University and Oregon State University field schools and she was an instructor at the National Park Service workshop Recent Archeological Prospection Advances for Non-destructive Investigations in the 21st Century. In addition to conducting magnetic surveys, McDonald has presented professional papers to the Society for Historical Archaeology and the Northwest Anthropological Conference.
